Ex, it’s not just the G7 it’s all developed nations, all of them. And it’s not going to change anytime soon. But you go believing Johnson’s boosterism and the Brexit cult.

You pointed towards The Financial Times  headline which screamed :-

"UK growth set to be worst in G20 apart from Russia, OECD warns"

You now say "all developed nations" is that ALL 81 that The World Bank tell us are developed nations or just the G20 as per the headline.

Make you mind up there is a 61 country difference ffs !!

You really do talk a lot of lefty twaddle Duffers - as you continue to do about the love in you have with European Useless.

Oh, and just to remind you I didn't vote Iin the last General Election - not for Johnson and his minions  or that lefty loser Corbyn and the awful sidekicks he surrounded himself with  Tongue

Ex, if you take yourself out of the electoral process why have you even got an opinion.

So you’re ok with this:
So much winning

Morning ‘Brian’, what can I say? I saw it and I thought of you.

That is a left wing publication’s take on a ‘projection’ published by the OECD, which looks at various scenarios and guesses what will happen if certain conditions are met.

Well that’s reliable then isn’t it?

Forecasts from the OECD are at least as likely to be wrong as they are to be right.

So on that basis I don’t suppose Ex is at all bothered.

Oh yeah, because as Michael Gove says “we’ve all had enough of experts”. Let’s ignore factual, bad news that doesn’t suit our imagined future.

This country is willing itself into an age of idiocy.

So is it just the G20 or ALL The World Bank 81 developed nations  -answer the question.

If I don't agree with the policies, aims or people of a particular political party I'm not going to vote for them - but I still have opinions which I am free to air.

What would you know about democracy or voting Jezebel - you never got that far at school or college, hence your burger flipping  life as  a Ronald McDonald dogsbody.

The only thing you know about is your feeble attempts to win stars, and as a Johnny(Jezebel) No Star  you haven't even got that far.

Anyone remember the year Westwood got kicked out of the ground at Gillingham, for being pissed about 15mins in.

Or the lovely weather in Pompey the day we played Grimsby away, with a goal from Mark Burchill to go top of the league. We when up in shorts and it was cold and raining.

Born and bred in Paulsgrove

Paulsgrove former Pubs
the Beacon
the Plover
the Clacton
the Beehive

All run at some time by Vic Howard
I know he's son Jody as a kid Vic had a arm wrestling table in the beacon at Paulsgrove shops.
Used to play penny up the wall, at the plover shops as a kid.

Your not more Pompey then me....

Vic never ran the plover, it was always run by Bill Mitchell, he never ran the Beehive either. The Clacton wasn't in Paulsgrove it was in Wymering, you missed out the Harbour Lights, the Cross Keys and the Old house at home. You sure you're a grover?

Vic the hat did run the Beehive before it closed. He also owns a bit of land right by Asda Leigh Park.

Harbour Lights is not in Paulsgrove it's the other side of race course lane.

Let name some people from Paulsgrove then my son.
Lets start with the Greens
Robin
David
Micheal
Tasha
Peter

How about the Allens
Daniel
Micheal
Nathan
They have a sister but I can't remember her name.

Tony Turner

Eddie Mitchell
Vicky Mitchell

I know they live in "Wymering"
How about the fords
Bud
John
Wayne

Is Jody not Vic Son?....

Vic never ran the beehive.
Which one of Vics brothers drove a bus, which one wore glasses, whcich one was a bricklayer, and who was the youngest?
Who was the landlord of the Beacon when it got rioted?
Who smashed the news fellas camera outside the Plover?

So Ex, exactly how much money did Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott and John McDonell actually borrow to spend, spend, spend?
Answer: They didn't borrow any money at all because they were never in power.

Yesterday the Commons Library revealed that in the past year this Conservative Treasury spent: £31bn in lost trade due to Brexit, £4bn in below-spec PPE that now has to be incinerated and £11bn in increased interest payments because Rishi Sunak didn't tick the 'would you like insurance for this product?' box. That's £46bn in just three areas, in one year, directly attributable to the actions of this current government.

Now I don't know how much of the UK's EU payments have gone to support and grow emerging economies in Europe - maybe you do, you seem sure enough to repeat it endlessly (actually, you probably don't) - but as our net contribution to the EU has been widely estimated at £216bn for our entire 47-year period of membership, and last year, this government literally threw away £46bn, I'd say most people would think that developing smaller economies that further enlarge the worlds largest marketplace for our goods and services is not a bad use of money.

I only started posting about Brexit on here after the referendum result showed that I'd been living in a bit of an echo chamber and it might be useful to interact with people who hold other opinions. But maybe that's a waste of time, Smirns seems to be the only one in your gang that can form a coherent argument (not that I agree with it). Ex, you're brain development must have been sharing the same space as your puberty - you argue like a child, I'm embarrassed for you.

Tuffers old boy, Big Grin a couple of points. As far as this site is concerned I am not in any “gang”! I’m just a cranky contrarian that likes an argument! On Brexit we are at polar opposites, that said I fully respect your right to that opinion. Even when I am attempting to wind it into you  Big Grin.

Sorry to disappoint you but I never in my working life (which has now finished as I am enjoying retirenent)did I work anywhere near a toilet. Yes, I play golf a couple of times a week, go to the gym (workout/swim) you should try it as you're going to be one fat coont as you slyly stuff  those leftover burgers.

The loony lefty manifestos always are to spend, spend, spend - Thankfully the electorate see right through the madness and don't give them the chance to get elected.

Yes you are correct millions was spent on what in the end turned out to be unusable PPE, Unfortunately many people in authority got in a blind panic when the   pandemic started and lots of mistakes were made throughout government, industry and in many other walks of life. In hindsight lots of things should and could have been done differently.

You have posted lots of sh!t about Brexit and you don't like being pulled up on it - Tuff Duffers !!!

Why should we have had to keep bailing out countries who made no or little contribution to the EU budget and aren't even trying to get their houses in order?

I'm not in a gang, have my own views,  nobody else's.

As for resorting to childish jibes , typical lefty loser tactics - jog on!

So Ex, how much of our EU contribution did go to these smaller economies - you seem particularly riled by it, so you must know, else you’d look pretty stupid.

…and Smirns, cranky contrarians looking for an argument are ten-a-penny ‘round these parts.

This is the EU budget for 2018, UK and Germany together contributed over 50%.

17 of the 27 were beneficiaries so not hard to work out that  a huge amount of the 9,770million Euros (9.7bn) that UK contributed was shared amongst those 17 countries.

I think it ends with us re-joining the single market, customs union unlikely to happen for ten years at least. Unless we’re honest with ourselves, then maybe sooner.

Nice work Ex. So £9.7bn in payments to emerging economies (is that total, or per year?) versus £31bn in lost trade (that is one year). Hmmm, do you see where this is going?
