So nothing is better then - turn the whole place upside-down, spaff £220bn up the wall, ruin our international reputation, but its all ok cos Smirns is still nursing his half of warm ale. Ok.

That statement is just ridiculous on so many levels, not least because I wouldn’t touch any ale that was warm. Aaaaaaand I don’t do half’s I do buckets.

One of the best thing about leaving Eurpean Useless is that it is still really hurting you rem***ers, all you ever do  like  lambs going to slaughter is :-

Bleat  Bleat, Bleat

Baa,Baa, Baa

I hope it really grates & hurts fot years & years to come....luverrrlllyyy jubbly - lamb chops anyone.

As for ruining our international reputation what a load of bollicks. Thankfully it has royally fuuuuuucccckkeed European Useless but we are looking forward to doing  trade deals with anyone we want, whenever we want without those meddling coonts dictating to us. However much it has cost, or whatever it costs in the future that alone  it is great value for the  money.

Rees-Mogg weirdo is telling us that we can opt out of our smartphones having a universal one-type-fits-all charger. And that this is a Brexit ‘win’.

Aside from the lunacy of it, we don’t even make any smartphones in the UK, we buy what we are offered. How is anyone still going along with this?

Well Duffers, after those by election results Johnson & his cronies are going to do anything to stay in power.

To not honour the 10 % or whatever it turns out to be dependent on  the September inflation rate would put the  final nail in the coffin.

Now get back to work ,I need your taxes for my pension increase ...........

They’re demonising 44k workers for wanting more than 3% - do you honestly think they’re going to give 10% to 11m pensioners. Don’t spend it until you have it would be my advice.

When the tories took control way back in 2010 our national debt was £0.95 trillion. After twelve years of austerity measures our national debt is now £2.3 trillion. But don't be letting facts get in the way of your thoughts.

Has Covid had an impact on that debt?

Duffers and his bleating sheep don't take in to account Covid - it is ALL  to do with Brexit in their eyes - WALOB

As I have told you before I'm not Tory - didn't vote them in, didn't vote at all  .. ... next.

Did the Global Financial Crash have an impact on Gordon Brown's government. I recall a lot of people on here thinking it was localised to the Labour government.

...and in 2018, the national debt had doubled to £1.83 trillion. That was after eight years of austerity measures and a full two years before Covid. So as I said before, don't be letting facts get in the way of your thoughts.

Shall I answer my own question then? Furloughs alone cost over 70 billion. Then there are vaccination costs and multiple others. Whatever Government we had at the time would have to spend. Maybe we should ask the Chinese Government to cover the costs, as they are in part responsible.

They also had to take over annual deficit of £147 bill and a nice little note saying, all the money has gone.

Well the left wing of the party has traditionally been Eurosceptic, Corbyn being a good example.

I suspect quite a few of them are secretly glad that we are out.

It is also the case that a lot of their traditional support base voted to leave, something they would do well to take heed of.

Labour reaped what it sowed, after calling those that voted to leave all sorts, they then asked those that they vilified and ignored to vote for them. The rest is history.

There’s no way Labour are going to say anything anti-Brexit whilst it’s still a cult. You can’t argue with these people, it just hardens their resistance. Unfortunately we all have to wait for that rump of idiocy to see the light before we can move on and return to reason.

I'm not a Labour Party member but I am a member of an affiliated trade union. Normally considered to be fairly left wing. Never been a Eurosceptic though. You knew that.

Labour supporters are essentially Brexiteers, so the current leadership would be mad to go against them. If Boris and his cronies hadn’t turned into Socialists, they would still be secure in their positions. Once you start down the ‘woke’ road the end is in sight for you.

The only cult is that of the left, the same failing ideology that has trashed so many countries and is in the process of ruining the USA.

The good thing is that the fight back is beginning, people see the light in the end (except the usual suspects with their blinkers on). Quite how these clowns think they can ultimately succeed by calling everyone racists, nazis and all the rest is an enduring mystery  Smile .

Your clutching at straws Guff, your Brexit is fucked - its just time now before it’s all over - the shorter the better. The other day Rees-Mogg, he who is the Minister of Brexit Opportunities, announced that needing a multitude of phone chargers was a Brexit-Win. The alternative, one USB-C charger to fit all phones was typical EU authoritarianism (he obviously hasn’t yet twigged that the size of the EU market means that it will happen in little backward Britain too).

Six years and hundreds of billions, and this is it?
Brexit is a muppet cult built as cover for offshore banking opacity, they’re taking you for fools.
