Why do Everton fans need backing? The club broke the rules! They are unlucky to be the first to hit with 10 points but nobody bat an eye lid when they took 9 off us in 2009/10. They certainly didn't give a feck about our fans then and couldn't wait to ban us from Europe (in favour of Liverpool).

Just because they are the first to be hit by the Independent Football Regulator-inspired reverse-ferret, doesn't mean the club shouldn't get punished. The PL have learned nothing from our experience. They still allow clubs to siphon off the ground to a different company, they still allow huge losses and they still allow despicable owners like the Saudis and Guitari's to become club owners. I just wish they also made some effort to pressure FIFA to stop multi-club ownership but hey they have to wait until the shit hits the fan before they do anything.

If the threat of the regulator makes them actually show some teeth, then Everton self-imposed woes are worth it. With the weak bottom 3 this season, I suspect they are relieved the PL only woke up to the misdemeanours this season rather than the last.
