Always a loop hole with signing on fees and images rights anyway, so even if the appeal fails it's a pointless cap.

What I find amusing is that the PL are so afraid of the new government quango that has been proposed. Can't think manu of the off.... organisations that have protected fraud and corruption in their respective areas. The PL have only agreed to things that suit their agenda so really this is a non story.

the current limit, stops clubs spending beyond their own means, bar the odd 100 million or so.
The new "limit" could easily be set as way beyond the means of smaller clubs, meaning that many fans/owners will push for higher spending that will endanger their clubs yet again. I'm quite happy for us to stay well clear while this sorts itself out |
