Agree about Lang , it was just that if we got Anjorin who seems a bit injury prone we might need someone else. I suppose with being able to name 9 subs then keeping Devlin would make sense, but he still needs match experience.

Pretty sure Ritchie could thrive in the 10 role as well.

Also can't believe Aaron Connolly is still available.
Still only 24 and a regular for Hull last season, 8 goals in 28 games.

The noise coming out of Republic of Ireland is he needs to sort his attitude out before he fulfills his previous hype

a long way from Hull, and Ireland.
Anyone now, we only want players who really want to come here.

Wouldn't have thought location would be a problem given he spent 6 years at Brighton.

Attitude suggestion would explain a lot.

His (Potts) brother is still a free agent. Get him back as well to seal the deal.

With Birmingham buying Jay Stansfield? from Fulham for £10M in L1, I think something really needs to be done about finance in football. How can lower league teams compete on a supposedly ‘level playing field’ when it’s very obviously tilted in the direction of the big boys.

....and breathe. Well I didn't expect that amount of activity but can't complain about the committment of anyone at Fratton to consolidating our return to the second tier. Many of the new faces are complete unknowns outside what Google tells me but I have complete confidence that Hughes and Mousinho are kicking on with their squad management and have acted to cover all positions in depth. Still no stand-out number 10 but we managed last year, didn't we?

So Brum spent £10 million on a player whilst being a League One club. If they have that much money to burn how did they go down in the first place? Totally baffling when you think about it

I think the resurgence of Lang and Saydee plus Silvera is possibly JM’s take on the players we have for the 10 slot.

And it is something that could be looked at again in January.

Don't see a resurgence in Lang, don't think he ever went away.

I thought he was a little bit off the pace after his injury last season having been so good before it, but he was getting moved about a bit.
