However, starting Sorensen as centre forward was ridiculous and we need the players to hold things together in the early phase of games, particularly away from home. The team need a lot more experience so where/when does Richie feature?  If he is not to play, what was the point in signing him? All we ever hear is how great our recruitment has been. Clearly a disconnect regarding Richie but accepting the odd 'mistake', are the others recruited good enough for the Championship? Does not look like it! The Eisners now need to invest heavily in Jan to bring in some quality on the pitch as relegation would be a financial disaster.

Too many players not good enough for the Championship.  Cardiff are obviously not one of the better teams yet we are making them look like world beaters. 
Sustainability is all very well but if we don't spend money on this team in Jan, it's back to Div 1.

At least in the 90s we were in the Championship (Div1). In the 70s the football was dire in the old Third & Fourth Divisions.

I went through those days too, even about half of the 60s and some performances were pretty poor but this is right up there with the worst of those!

JM needs to change tactics, we don’t have the players to play in this division at 4231. We need at least 3 central midfielders. Our control of the ball and first touch is shocking. Pack ( unfortunately) is not the player he needs to be in the championship. There’s usually very good reasons when a player drops down a division.
The 3 really creative players we had last season ( Kamara, Robertson and Anjorin) were never replaced during the summer. We also needed a proven striker to compete with Bishop- Yengi is totally unproven.
I’ve never been a pessimist but if we finish 21st this season I’ll be chuffed. We need to buy very carefully in January before having a rebuild in the summer, because if we’re honest and taking our bluetinted glasses off we only have a couple of players with championship experience and the rest are probables.

Anyhow , here’s for a 2-2 draw or the mother of all comebacks 2-3. PUP.
