Not only the injuries. Are they all training so hard that they run out of steam in the last ten minutes of games (plus an extra ten of injury time)
Harry did he opposite, good players, light training and exciting performances when it mattered.

That's true of Harry, apparently, he let Paul Merson off training several times.
Just halfway through his book "HARRY" he most definitely had some good ideas. Perhaps we could bring him back ![]()
Not only for Merse. He trusted all the experienced players to manage their own bodies and training schedules. I bet if he'd been given Prosinecki he'd have built a winning team around him, Ballie too.

Harry's stint at Birmingham answers this question. Young track and field types of today more interested in posting photos of their pink football boots and sleeve tattoos on Instagram than they are being the best player they can be.
He's from a different time when players were players.

As they play most of their home matches on the H&W plastic pitch it would be sensible to use that for training as well. I know a lot of teams other than H&W use that pitch for training- that is how they make their money.

Not that I care that much, but I did read that their game is currently suffering far more frequent serious injuries than in the past - particularly ACLs. Perhaps the obsession in trying to match the level of the men's game in terms of fitness etc.
