Why don't so called supporters have sympathy for players that get injured ? 

No-one gets injured on purpose and injuries have devastating effects on players' careers, life and families as well as being bad luck for their employing clubs.

To criticise players for getting injured is totally illogical. The criticism seems to come from people not being able to cope with the fact that injured players are temporarily/permanently of no use to the team, and they need to find someone to blame for that piece of bad luck.

Criticising their play is fair game, even if totally subjective.  

Criticising them as a waste of space because they got injured is a different matter.

It’s not that I don’t rate him. He’s just not been pulling his weight and at this level, players have to work harder.
