I thought Ogilvie did ok. An unfortunate og from Og.

He put in a great cross for Saydee.

Ogilvie was solid but should have done better for the og. Other than that he as fine and put in a few good crosses. Always a threat from corners too, in fact our only threat from corners.
Poole was dreadful and Pack not much better.

TBH it was the right side that bothered me. Having rewatched the highlights on SKY it looked like the majority of Swansea attacks came down that side. Our defence (especially the CB's) did look weak and appeared to be pulled all over the place. Personally I feel we need at least 4 experienced players in Jan. 2xCB's 1xCM(playmaker) and a decent striker. If Farrell is still suffering from brittleness then a new LB as well.

Mistakes happen. That’s the reason cars have bumpers and pencils have rubbers.
We have 4 players who should be regular championship starters for us and are good enough for this level. Schmid, Lang, Bishop, Murphy all good enough for the championship.
Hard to find any others. We need huge investment in January but that won't happen.

She did and now we see the result.

Centre forward and left back needed, not sure we can rely on Yengi or Farrell getting fit.
Centre half, we suddenly look desperately lacking there. Defensive midfield, dont think what we have atm is quite good enough

I’d look at Ipswich players that performed well and got lots of appearances but not getting a look in this season to fill 2 loan spots (not bothered looking if these are injuried to much work)
luke woolfenden centreback been on the bench or not in squad last 5 41 appearances last season Massimo Luongo centre mid been on the bench or not in squad last 8 43 appearances last season Ali Al-Hamadi foward covers the whole front line Not many minutes this season Keeps them getting minutes and if Ipswich go down ready to go straight back in to their squad. But all better than our current loans and would improve the spine of our squad

Even bigger January now we have added Blackburn away and Millwall home to the already extensive list. Not sure how much say we have in re-arranging but I am surprised with these dates. I would have wanted to leave at least one of them as late as possible; certainly until new signings had bedded in. Anyone with thoughts?

I would also be on the phone to Brandon Williams agent and ask why he hasn’t got a club bring him in now to register in January on a short term deal with club option

Buy Hayden Matthews
Bring in on loan Massimo Luongo Ali Al-Hamadi Liam Kitching Harvey Vale Send back Silvera and O’mahoney See the crack with Brandon Williams why hasn’t he got a team played 15 times for Ipswich last season and was a good left back This would leave Goal keepers - schmid, archer Right back Devlin, Williams, Swanson Centreback - Shaughnessy, kitching, Poole, Matthews, McIntyre Left back- Farrell, Ogilve Midfield - pack, Dozzell, Luongo, potts Attacking mid’s - Ritchie, Murphy, vale, Lang, lane Forwards - bishop, Al-Hamadi, Saydee, yengi Lots of dead wood to shift though |
