What’s it being made out of? Does seem an awful lot but I guess it depends on the material, the size and the quality of the artist being employed.

I'll knock one up out of papier mache for £20 and a packet of pork scratchings.
As long as you coat it in a good marine varnish we don’t want it turning into Ken Bates in the rain

With the advent of 3D printers hopefully they can get the face right.

The sculptor got a panning and rightly so. But that’s the exact expression he pulled when he was repeatedly dumped on his arse at FP. Richard Hughes I think.

It was. And a red card.
764 appearances and only 9 goals. The only England player to have ever scored an own goal.

The queens would have had a field day if we signed a modern day player with those stats.

There's quite a good little Pompey-England own goals club, I see. Alan Ball, Tony Adams and Glenn Johnson all put through their own net too.

Please go to littlevillageclub.co.uk to see what happens when you go for a low quality artist.
They paid £112,000 for that statue in 2007 ..... that's probably the equivalent of more than 150k now.

Not sure I understand that comment.

All I was doing was pointing out that paying a lot of money is no guarantee of a satisfactory end product. I wasn't criticising anything.

Maybe you’re just not as clever as you think.
