This is our 6th season in league one and we look no closer to achieving promotion. Are we ever going to get back to where we at least should be, the championship.

Who's to blame? Poor recruitment from the cowleys with a terrible defence and keeper, but also a lack of investment in the team from the owners plays a big part.

This is another season where we will finish 5th or 6th or just outside the playoffs. A million miles off top 2. At best a playoff defeat awaits.

For a club of Pompeys support and history, it's embarrassing.

Have our fans given up, genuinely? Have our fans had the life kicked out of them where we are all resigned to this league now?

No one can ever convince me under any circumstances that we should be happy in this league.

The fact we are still in this league is a joke, and what's more worrying is we look further away than ever before of getting out this league.
Can't get promoted in October mate.

Can't you see the signs already for this season?

We are a million miles off promotion.

I'm sick to death of us failing to get out this league.

We’re 5th with 2 games in hand.

So did I...
The real positive from last nights game, was the subs all looked really bright when they come on. So morel must be good within the squad, they are all pushing for a start.
I had home made lasagna with a baked potato, smashing.
Fish and Chips for me

I’ve only heard it called Sunday lunch.

Pasta with potato? is that a thing?

My kids - who are not even kids anymore - are vegetarians, so I made a lentil and mushroom ragu over mashed potato. Add enough red wine to the ragu and its actually very nice. Made so much we're having it again tonight.
I do enjoy a vegetable moussaka.
I want your Chilli recipes
Boudin noir for me. Cooked with apple and then deglaze the pan with a splash of Calva. Add a dollop of cream. Lovely.

That's more like it - the B-L-D thing, not flat Yorkshire puds.
I'm sorry but tea is for the under tens and supper only if you live in a fisherman's cottage circa 1870 or was by any chance, Jesus which would be something of a miracle on a Pompey message board.
Think this thread should be moved to General now so far off topic. BTW I had: 1/2 Avocado, Cheese & Onion Quiche new pots & mixed veg, fresh rasperries & greek yoghurt all served by my butler James!
