I think ‘star’ is overstating it just a tad  Big Grin .
off home to mummy
As I said on the other thread, he is 22, has only started 7 league games, and has only completed 90 mins three times.

He is in no position to be dictating terms.  With that record he should be grateful we thought him worthy of a decent contract offer.   I'd rather have a youngster like Jewitt-White coming off the bench than someone like Mingi with his attitude and his over-inflated opinion of himself.
He wants to play football, fair play to him.
So do most players.
Djimi Traore and Lauren didn’t they just wanted shed loads of cash for doing nothing
Harry’s worst 2 signings
Mingi
On what we've seen, mediocre at best

Doesn’t want to play for us, thinks he’s better than he is and demonstrates no loyalty to his employer who paid him most of last season when injured. I think we should be aiming at better.

Just my opinion like.

No need for any bad feeling then. He wants football, he isn’t getting it so he’s leaving.

Based on what?
If Mingi does indeed depart, I wonder how much we will regret letting Adam Payce leave as well. IMHO the latter was a far better prospect long term.
Is Adam signed up somewhere now?
WE really need a link team between the youth and 1st team, even more important if we do get promoted.

Isn't that supposed to be an Academy or is that you're referring to under Youth team?

Totally agreed. He's an exciting, skilful talented young player.

Moushino wasn't playing him after injury not sure why?

Regarding the new 3 year contract that would be his agent turning it down Not the player.

Something doesn't quite add up here.

O.k. but thought we had academy status but at the lower level which really needs sorting if we want to produce our own good young players.

What? Agents don’t turn down contracts unless their client wants them to. The contract hasn’t been turned down.

Trouble is that when we do, there is too big a gap to the first team so they get released.
Also, to get the higher academy grade there is a ridiculous amount of requirements that are very hard to fit into any space on Portsea Island. And then, if you do unearth a gem, the prem sides have given themselves the right to take them off our hands.

You obviously don't know how it works then. The club make an offer which the player than asks the agent whether to accept. His agent then says I can get you a better deal at Charlton so the offer is turned down. Quite often the offer is made directly to the agent who then turns it down on behalf of the player. If you watched The Academy about Palace youngsters most have agents at 14!
