Well last night went rather well, didn’t it?

Got to put our own games to bed now and maximise the opportunity.

Oxford. The early form team but they’ve slid behind over the season. We nearly did it at theirs but we need to act like champs and wallop them at home. It won’t be necessarily straight forward because they’re still very much in the frame for a playoff place.

3-1
There's been a lot of focus on us not slipping up but it has to be pointed out that there is a lot of pressure on those teams under us who will be looking at the table and thinking there is only one automatic promotion place to fight for.

Realistically it'll now be one of Barnsley, Bolton or Derby who will take that second spot. If you were managers of those teams you'd be more focussed on second than top. Supporters will be getting antsy. Expand the pool to those likely to make the playoffs (maybe down as far as 8th) and it's squeaky bum time for all of them.

We just need to stay calm against these sides and then take our chances. They have to come out fighting to win from the start, we have the luxury of playing the more considered, less mistake prone style of game.

Oxford mightily inconsistent of late, I see us coming away with all three points by a two or three goal margin.
2-1 Pompey
4-0 Pompey.About time we thumped 'em good and proper.
Meanwhile, Derby and Bolton both at home to far easier opposition (in theory).
I suppose Barnsley should also be given some sort of regard to. Away to Wycombe.

We need to win against Oxford.
I can't help worrying a bit about Saturday's game. Seem to draw too often with Oxford. Hope I am wrong but am going for 1-1. Hope I am not jinxing anything but due to a combination of living in Kent and working alternate Saturdays I can only make it to a few games each season. I am going to be at Fratton Park on Saturday and my previous Home games this season have been Cheltenham, Blackpool and Fleetwood. I am considering banning myself for being bad luck!
On the other hand, by the law of averages I must be due to see us win so fingers firmly crossed.
If decent Oxford show up, it could be a tight game. Maybe 2-1 pompey. If the shit Oxford show up it'll be fournilwrittenalloverit
The joy of Saturday's game is that we can lose and the title is still in our own hands.
With respect we don't want negative thoughts, we want wins please. 3-0 Pompey
Absolutely 18-0
They’ll be lucky to get nil.
Dale back again tomorrow. Will he score again?

Perhaps you should do your research.

Pompey have beaten them only twice in the last 10 games.
It's over mate. Come on now.

Since 1990 today will be the 41st time the two clubs have met in 34 years.

Pompey has won 15
Oxford has won 11
There has been 14 draws, including that barmy 5-5 at Oxford
Going on today's rates, Pompey 56pts Oxford 47pts
To be a bogey team, you need a superior record.

Your record as a wum is equally poor.  Blush Smile

A  bit one dimensional. Take a creative wumming course.
I see the "bogey' side outplayed us and we won playing shit!
For me that's brilliant
