The problem with the 5 Live coverage has been the ridiculous amount of time wasted between the Sports Report music and the classified results. Every Premier League match is summarised combining a bit of commentary and the results BEFORE they start the classified results! If they returned to the original approach - a couple of brief headlines and then straight to the results - they would save 5 minutes. Remember, total attendances across the EFL exceed total attendances across the EPL (46 matches for 72 clubs rather than the mere 38 for 20 clubs), yet the coverage of the EFL is minimal.
