Thank God
2 in 2 minutes. Great finish by Hirst.

Oh wow, I can't believe it!!!

Great ball by Harness and a really good finish.
Hirst seems to be moving forward step by step, knits the team together well and is getting chances now regularly.

Unbelievable after the poor start but kept at it so well done.
Looks like we're the extra time specialists as well! Got to stay on the offensive in the 2nd half & Not try to defend the lead a la Jackettball!

wooooh get in there!

What a loanee Carter's been. Get in, great goal.

one all to the keepers on great saves! Hirst was really unlucky there.

Get in. That's 12 goals in 4 games and 10 points. Is it on?

Great performance & result which makes things even after the sending off there.
Can't stand Karl Robinson either. Was Hirst injured as he was subbed?

Don't think so. Just knackered, put in a shift.

Hirst has definitely won me over. Would love to think we could afford him and Carter on a permanent basis but fear there is no chance of either staying past the end of the season.

Hirst could probably do a job in the championship, he’ll never make in the Prem and would have to take a 75% cut to join us

DC deserves some credit for identifying the potential of Hirst and for persevering with him when the vast majority (me included) would have happily sent him back to Leicester to make room for someone better. Still some way to go though, he should have buried that header to make it 4-1. Guess it proves that young players need time and nurturing to come good.

Got to give Cowley credit where it’s due, his substitution’s were spot on tonight. If that had been Jacket he would have taken one off the strikers off and played one up front. One of the best if not best performance of the season tonight.
Two very good teams contributing to a classic under the lights night. Hard to pick mom as there were many all over the pitch.

Great performance (first 5 mins excluded). Its especially good when you consider we had no Curtis or Jacobs today. Defence is still incredibly porous and needs to be tighened up.
An 8 point gap but the flame still flickers.

So there I am in my customary position, propping up the bar in the north stand, not many folk about yet, and Andrew Cullen walks through. I give him a quick nod of recognition, and he comes over, shakes my hand, asks me how I am. Nice touch there, mingling with the proletariat.

Did you get his ring? Only joking!

It is amazing how grit, determination and the will to win overcomes a crap start.
One game at a time boys PUP !

Entertaining and committed and a great atmosphere in the pissing rain. That’s more like it lads. Great goals as well.

One thing that is something to be positive about is the reaction to going behind in the last couple of games has been better. Earlier in the season, once we went behind the players would go into panic mode, and later on give up mode. Good to see some belief and CONTROLLED aggression on he pitch.
