I know we’ve put new offers on the table for both players, however it’s a gamble as they can be refused.Don't understand why we've not agreed contracts with both of them. Is it greed on behalf of their agents? Maybe JM isnt too fussed on keeping them so has offered them a deal reflecting that. Or maybe he wants to tie them down to 2/3 year deals (would imagine this could be a possibility in Swansons case) so has opted to have talks over a longer contract.

Concerning KAMARA - as said before he is nearly the finished article for the Championship, but certainly cannot be considered ready for the Prem.
Quite a few times post Christmas I have felt his performance suffered badly in the final 30+ minutes. Also, I have a sneaking feeling that Norwich City , ie Wagner may just be trying to talk up his value ....

I am being dense here I think.. what does ‘not taking up an option on Morrell or Swanson, but negotiating with them’ mean? You may well be right there. There may be a compromise position though.

Evans played really well in 1st half against Derby until he tired 2nd half. Has a lot of experience & was just lacking match fitness. Macey is a good keeper & should have played a couple of games at the end to show what he could do. Norris is very good most of the time but lacks full concentration at times i.e. penalty given away at Lincoln.

Why should JM have dropped Norris for the final few games so Macey can have ago. It’s not a kids team ffs. I’m sure the entire coaching staff are aware of what Macey can and cannot do, hence no games and no contract.

If you didn't know it's a squad game these days & in a lot of eyes Macey is as good as Norris. Harsh on Macey not being retained after bringing him back.

Towler is one for the future and still has 2 yrs on his contract. Macey was only cover until the end of the season. On your reasoning we should’ve given Schofield another chance , after all he was number 2 before Macey came.

Are you aware what Moose said - "Macey wants to be a No1 at this stage in his career" Moose couldn't guarantee he would be the No 1 - it all depended on his performances in pre-season games, therefore they shook hands & Macey goes somewhere to be the No 1. |
