Deep, take a look at comments on Charlton's twitter account or their Into the Valley messageboard - their supporters' views on Bowyer seem to be incredibly similar to our opinions of Jackett. Route 1, players out of position, no plan b, etc.
We've suffered enough with that over the last four years seasons, do we really want to run that risk again? Plus, personally, I don't want to see some racist, bullying thug in charge at Pompey.
All managers attract criticism from the anonymous keyboard warriors but the fact that these can be read by everyone does not make them any more relevant than when it was just people moaning down the pub. Rather than take notice of fans comment I prefer to judge on the evidence of my own eyes, and every time I've seen Charlton play in the past few years they have played good football ... especially in this season's game at FP.
I've never liked the man because of the racist toerag that he was when a young man, but to be fair to him his team do not play hoofball.
