You obviously don't know how it works then. The club make an offer which the player thenasks the agent whether to accept. His agent then says I can get you a better deal at Charlton so the offer is turned down. Quite often the offer is made directly to the agent who then turns it down on behalf of the player. If you watched The Academy about Palace youngsters most have agents at 14!
Well yes Mikey you don’t have a dog and bark yourself. Your post suggested the agent makes the decision not the player and that is not the case. The agent deals with the club but the player decides if he is going to sign a contract or not.
Again, the contract hasn’t been turned down.
