Training compensation. The news article even says the training compensation is far less than the transfer fees the club could have got in January.

Training compensation is a fee paid on the transfer of a player to another club. It is a transfer fee by any definition of the term.

Mikey was suggesting the agent turned down the contract in order to get a slice of a transfer fee. I never said there was no training compensation. There is no transfer fee as any reasonable person would consider it.
