Very impressed with that.
They have done exactly what they said they would do, the purchase of Rocko and the continuing acquisition of land around the Park shows that they have a vision for the club.
Those pining for fan ownership must know that we could not have afforded most of that and that the capacity of the ground would have reduced significantly.
If the Cowleys don’t deliver, I have no doubt they will be replaced.
I was interested in what he had to say about getting from the station to the ground. Working with Network Rail must be an absolute nightmare, the state of the stations in Pompey is testament to their uselessness. There was a plan to open direct access to the Harbour station from Gunwharf, a matter of a few yards, but this STILL has not been achieved. What are the chances of getting a bridge to ease access to FP ffs?
Instead of spending billions on HS2 and Crossrail (in a city that already has excellent public transport), they should have spent some of that improving the pathetic state of existing regional infrastructure. It really boils my piss just writing about it, clueless clowns the lot of them.
