No doubt insurance is still available at a price, both for the players and the clubs. But be serious, who would insure someone with an injury record like Jack ? The premium would be as much as his wages.
You're right there about premium levels as it's all about risk levels in insurance.
But, I think you'll find that Jack hasn't missed a game through injury since joining Wigan.
That may well say something about Pompey's training methods & Roko playing surface.
Quite a few other players including Jacobs have picked up injuries in training.
