Peter Harris didn't do so bad
No Deep. The discretion is held by the club unilaterally, not the player. Sourced credible example:

Yep ... looks like I was wrong about this. I assumed players had to sign the offered contract extension because we often hear of players signing contract extensions. But a bit of googling reveals that there are also UECs, which can be unilaterally extended by the club to stop the player becoming a free agent, so this could be one of those.
At least I can admit it when I'm wrong. Can you ?

I didn't think you had the intellectual capacity to research things related to contracts on Google but seemingly you have and have now realised the option is the club's, not the players. I was wrong. Sane person ? We're talking Kenny Jackett here. "Catlin believes they have learnt from the Jed Wallace £275,000 release clause – albeit Wolves still signing him for around £750,000." Not for me to explain how or why. And if you want to find out you'll have to ask Mark Catlin, not me . That's me finished with this thread as well.
The way the draw is set with the numbers etc, had we beaten Newport last night, we'd have got Spurs at home.
Typical. What a big opportunity missed.
