Steve Bryant deserves an honourable mention. Would kick a ball boy if there were no opposition players available - plus I recall him throwing a Torquay player's boot into the NSL one season.

But only because I remember him kicking a Sunderland player up the bum after being bundled into the crowd. I think it may have been Mick Horswill. And Bobby Kellard. Does anyone remember when Ron Davies used to do a cartoon of a player in the Football Mail every week? One week he did Bobby Kellard with trees growing out of the ground for legs. Fitting.

I went to school with Paul and back then he couldn't tackle a crossword although you could see there was ability there. They must have put him on a red meat diet at Waterlooville because he was a different beast when he signed for Pompey, and didn't he get sent off while being stretchered off at FP? That must qualify him! Last I heard he'd moved over to California and was coaching at a second-tier club out there.
