Two years on look where they are. ? Look where Pompey are.?
A massive gap in terms of ambition and progression.
No ambition at Pompey.Eisners should look at the improvement of Sunderland Football Club. They may learn something how to take a club forward. SFC Holding their own in championship.
Pompey going backwards. Not just on the pitch but as a club. League 1 outfit at best. We not a big club no more.
Infact the smallest EFL southern club in the south of england.
Sunderland is a bit of an unfair comparison considering the size of the stadium and fanbase. Instead, I would point to Coventry (who went up from League 2 without even playing in their own fecking ground, waved at us on the way past, and are now doing relatively ok in the championship) and Luton (who did the same thing as Coventry, with a ground capacity of about 11,000, who are challenging in the championship playoffs and about to move to a bigger ground than us). Peterborough did it despite having 12 fans, whilst even Wycombe had a quick trip up the league. Meanwhile, this will be three years without even reaching the playoffs!
After 7 years of ownership we're about to end up with a patched up ground and the same capacity as when we had in the last two decades. Maybe then they will have to actually spend on the team itself. Who knows? I know some disagree but we may have a complete ground but the Eisner's also have a ready-made package to sell. They would've got jack without the rebuild.
I'm not pro PFC Coalition by the way. It's a waste of time because the Eisner's actual interest in us extends to making sure we don't lose too much money.
Patched up lol.
