Methods which succeed at other clubs and therefore get copied are far more likely to be a bigger influence on modern young managers than any course they did. Especially as much of the copying these days is from foreign managers who took their courses in a different country.
not from what I've seen over many years in schools.
The experts come up with a "new" big idea every 5 years or so.
Which then means they can get paid to go in tell others about the new idea while they think up another.
Their biggest aim of course being to never ever actually work in a front line job again. (I wonder if that is the same for those leading the FA coaching courses? ie avoiding being in the front line?)
