I'm sure the medical genius (wasted as a PE teacher really) said something about being able to stop players getting injured by studying their running style and making changes to it.
Who needs doctors, Jesus, or ET when you've got guys like this stopping people hurting themselves.
The Cowley brothers have solved pronation?! The running shoe industry is ruined

To be fair he had some success with Louis Thomson doing exactly that, and Thompson was full of praise for him.

That's because he's a decent manager and a decent chap. The Cowleys will go on and do a good job for somebody as and when.

Rehabilitated him all the way to the dizzy heights of Stevenage. What a miracle worker

More a comment on the quality of the player Deep (thought that was obvious)

As the author of the comment, I might consider myself the authority of my own opinion on that.
Or am I wrong about that as well?

I never particularly had a problem with Cowley. I enjoyed the start of last season but was as frustrated with our inability to win as anyone. He rightly got the shove when he did. I don’t see any difference in play between Cowleys style and Moushino’s.
Cowley’s ability to recruit players is summed up in Moore and Bishop. Moushino hasn’t had to have that task. We’ll judge him on what he does with the players he has been given. The thread is about Cowley as a commentator and I didn’t find it arduous listening to him. His language is a bit too flowery at times but he’s a distinct improvement on Kelly. I prefer Witts.

I'd agree with that. Whitts, then anyone else, then a long way down Kelly.
incidentally, Whitts is back allo!

Cowley might be that bit too nice. Comes across absolutely lovely. Jackett on the other hand always seemed an absolute coont if you'll pardon my flowery language. The way he treated Brett P at the end of his time at Pompey was an absolute disgrace. But whike I still feel his longnterm impact was negative, he was effective in many ways, especially the first half of the 18/19 season. The good managers seem to have varying degrees of that about them.

Been watching Pompey from the FE for over 50 years and in all that time have only ever seen two people fall asleep during a game - both during Jackett's time as manager. Sums his football up for me and was glad to see that back of him.

When we went 5 at the back against Coventry's 9 men while ahead and still conceded an equaliser, that was the final straw for me with Jackett. I had doubts because of the dire nature of some of the football and him not playing Chaplin nearly enough in that first season. Leaving Lowe out of the starting lineup and not making the third sub was another seriously iffy moment but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. That 3-3 against 9 men though really did it for me. He should have been sacked there and then IMO. He most certainly should have been sacked after the playoff defeat to Oxford. Playing Morris over Naylor with all that "winter footballer" bollocks was strangeness bordering on possible corruption.

Yeh
The bring on an extra defender against 9 men lost most of the crowd I should think. Then Naylor too reinforced it.
