That’s a load of cods, both Charlton goals came from our left flank. Raggett didn’t put a foot wrong all game.

I agree....Raggett was not at fault in any way for the 2 Charlton goals. I also agree that he always gives a 100% and never seems to moan, however.... Poole is a class above, and his composure on the ball and all round game is way above that of Raggett....so if we're serious about making automatic promotion, then we'll need to recruit another Poole type player come January. In addition, and with all due respect to Yengi and Saydee, we also desperately need to get hold of another proven goal scorer as sooner or later our reliance on Bishop is gonna catch up with us!

I think Poole is a better all round player. However, he isn’t infallible and I doubt that Grigg would have muscled Raggett off the ball as easily. Raggett also gives us aerial superiority in both boxes and a real goal threat.
We need competition for places and it’s good to see how the competition are shaping up for the challenge. It was one out of one, for me, on Saturday. As far as moaning goes, I’m sure Mousinho would appreciate people banging on his door to moan about wanting to play. It’s a positive thing. Ref. Bishop. We play one up front. Until Bishop is injured and we see how his competition shapes up, we don’t really have much of a clue how it would turn out if Yengi was given the same role. He looked bloody good early season, until that injury.

Personally I’d rather we played two up front at home but the results cannot be argued with so I guess we’ll stay as we are. I see we are after pace in the Jan window and you can see the logic in that.

It’s a shame Whytes form is so patchy. He obviously has pace to burn but he’s been so inconsistent.

Hopefully Ogilvie coming back will shore up the left side of defence. Then Mousinho has to decide who to start on the left side of our attack will it be Lane or will it be Sparkes? Nice dilemma to have, for what it’s worth I’d go with Sparkes

Lane, on the left? Why does he need a break, he’s just coming into great form?
I think Sparkes is doing a great job, getting better in all departments. Still room for improvement in defense but he’s getting there with this run in the side.

Lane plays on the right. Yes he’s left footed but prefers wide right. It’s wide left were the problem is and I can’t really see JM playing Ogilvie at LB and Sparkes further up especially if one of them got injured, as that would leave us short at LB. It’s still a centre back and wide left priorities for me.
