Great result with our injuries and suspensions.
Morrell back next game, and hopefully Colby will be back asap. Get to 50 points by January and with a good january transfer window we can really push on in the new year. A point v Bolton would be great.

Morrell can’t walk straight back in next week did well today.
Also we looked much more threatening with pace through the middle.

Three goals clawed back on that goal difference.

Boy am I glad this was an away game, it is absolutely freezing outside and foggy too (Eastney).

I know we've had our fill of injuries but that midfield is looking stronger every game. Morrell will be back in contention next week and Lowery is ready for some minutes too.
If Saydee and Yengi can find the back of the net, it could be a very good December.

‘We weren’t at it, but they were very good. One of the best sides up here for a while, and they had eight players out!’

That front 4 was the most exciting I’ve seen play for Pompey for a while. Maybe they won’t be able to replicate it week in week out but it would be nice to think that is an attack we can reliably put out.

The silver lining of the injuries is that the youngsters we bought are getting time on the pitch and can only be improving. A month for Yengi will tell us whether he is the real deal for the long term. Swanson, Lane, Devlin, Saydee plus kamara on loan have all had far more time than they would have expected.
Shame that Robertson is on loan, but presumably Man City are very happy with us and will let us keep him in the champ (hopefully) or give us another of a similar standard next season. For a neophite manager, Mouse is getting an awful lot right.
