just before half time made a fantastic tackle to keep us in the lead for half time.

He did indeed after a rare Pack error.
17-02-2024, 06:58 PM
incidentally, was he booked near the end, the ref waved a yellow card over the man on the floor but gave him a free kick.

We had both shades of him today. Imperious challenge on 43 mins. Then that fucking daft free kick that they hit the crossbar with.

He was very good today. Very assured.
In fact our whole back line was.

Raggetts tackle was superb and neither I nor the the commentators could work out what the free kick was for.

I thought Rafferty had already been booked in the first half?

Brainless challenge for the pen

Dale was clever enough to abandon any idea of shooting and concentrated on getting the penalty. A mistake from Raggett but not an awful one - and no-where near as bad as MPH's awful pass which gave them the chance. And the way he shrugged off the mistake to play a superb defensive performance for the rest of the game says a lot about the man and his value to the team.

Must admit, I do like Raggett however, he didn’t need to make the tackle for 3 reasons.
1).The ball was running away from goal. 2). It was Owen Dale and he wouldn’t have shot. 3). It was OWEN CAN’T SHOOT DALE. Raggett should’ve stayed on his feet and ran him out.

Everyone makes mistakes. He has been our 'Mr dependable' and I for one am very glad he didn't leave in January

Some just love knocking him.

I’m not knocking him, I think he always gives 100%, however, he is allowed to be criticised ( as are all players), and I think he made a mistake in ‘tackling’ Dale in the box. Other than that he played really well.

I was referring more to Slayer and Titchy

I noted quite a few mistakes yesterday.
He’s allowed an off game, as long as we still win.
04-03-2024, 05:34 PM
Have you ever noticed that he's always the first player off the pitch at the final whistle?
04-03-2024, 06:10 PM
Yeah, I've seen that Bill. Strange one. Wants the hottest cup of tea?

That’s curious. Well spotted, if that’s the case.
