Hopefully everyone is signing the petition that is being spread round online. I think it is the sort that forces a debate in parliament and there are significant numbers of MPs who would hate this change.

Problem is the F.A. are spineless. PL dictate everything. EFL not much better. According to Simon Jordan. They turned down a better revenue split a few years ago.

I remember in the early seventies orient at home then a replay on a midweek afternoon because of the energy crisis as a draw second replay at selhurst Park. We won 2 0 ithink Bobby kellard scored a screamer

Rather than boycott the FA Cup, I'd prefer to see true solidarity among all the non-league clubs and EFL clubs in the first round. For any match that finishes level, both teams should refuse to take penalties. Given there's 40 matches in the first round, there should be a fair few draws and there's no way the FA would kick-out 16, 18, 20 clubs or however many end up drawing!
Then again, I'd love to see those EPL clubs who finish 2nd, 3rd and 4th refuse to accept their invitations to enter the so-called 'Champions' League. Out of these two scenarios, we all know that one of these outcomes will never happen! |
