Raggett is still a hopeless ball watcher but, fair play to him, the passing game seems to help him more as team mates are staying in positions where he can easily find someone. Looks much more confident on the ball. He’d never have tried that ball to Jacobs 2 or 3 weeks ago. His Cruyff turns are almost hallucinogenic.
Thought we created plenty myself. We could/perhaps should have been 3 up @ ht. Start of the second half we created lots as well. I know we all see things differently but its good that most agree the style is quicker & more expansive than Jacketball.
Agree, first half we should have had one or two more. Second, we had only 2 shots, both off target.
Just looking at stats over the last 3 games, shots/shots on target are only 8/5, 7/3, 7/3 whereas under Kenny we only had less shots this league season twice, against Hull and MKD (funnily enough we won both, and no SoT against Hull) and generally under Kenny we'd have 2, on occasions 3 times as many shots per game.
So it looks like the difference in performance is mainly effective more in midfield or at the back, and when we do create a clear chance it's one that's more likely to be put away - more men in the box/in a better shooting position.
Of course, can't take away from 3 wins in 3.
