Then some new people come in and are about the change the way things have been done in the last couple of seasons. Shaking up the coaching staff and setup. But you want to keep going the way that things have been done in the last couple of seasons as that hasn't delivered promotion. And change it at the same time.
You sound like Boris telling us to don't go out, but go out, as long as you stay in.
You seem to have the answers Septic. Let's have your ideas for how we should approach the coming season, for playing staff, for coaching staff, for ground investment and general running costs. What sort of squad balance would you aim for. Are you going to splurge the majority of your budget on a big name or spread it out a bit. I want to know what your business plan would be off the pitch for financial security and how you set up the team for sure fire promotion.
Please show your working which must show either break even or a modest profit and also guarantee a final league position of first.
Teef for two
Can I just ask you, how do you see the oncoming season, in the last financial report PFC earned without supporters season tickets 7 million pound from advertising and corporate, with just a little from t.v. Gate receipts 4 million from this amount we paid all staff wages, the upkeep of the stadium and running costs, we did all this and still showed a million pound profit in the annual accounts.
The squad was reinforced by the selling of two of our top players for millions, now this pre season we have a couple of players when sold will possibly generate 1.5 million the owners have said we can use the sale money to build a new squad, what sort of squad do you think we will get for 1.5 million, what the owners are not saying is we will contribute any money towards the rebuild.
I hear you say “ well they have paid enough to see us through the pandemic” absolutely rubbish like I said our government has done that, so be grateful.
How can you set a team up to challenge for promotion when the investment is going in the opposite direction, can you imagine getting to the Championship, and what we would we need to be invested, these people would absolutely shit themselves, they are quite happy were we are, and wouldn’t even worry to much if we dropped a league, there financial commitment has been to buy the club on the cheap and that’s were it ends, let’s see over the coming weeks who goes and what better players are brought in to replace them, even more interesting let’s watch other clubs snap up our few good players for a pittance.
So how do you see our progression from the last season teef for two
