After coming out of the ground against Forest Green JW was truly embarrassing; ridiculous, vulgar and without humour.

As an irregular fan over the last few seasons I've not seen him like this before.

He obviously has a massive alcohol problem and, sadly, seems to genuinely have mental health problems, as well.

I genuinely wish him all the best but now understand why he is pissing so many people off.

I hope he gets help, he was always eccentric but used to be friendly.
He got himself stuck in the aisle at Ipswich away and wanted my seat. Typical away day situation, sit where you want/can, fair enough.

But rather than ask me to bunch along, the way he tried to get it was to invade my personal space. If he was any closer he would be sat on my shoulders, dangling his bell ringing arm over me and shouted a load of shit about Chaplin not being one of our own (we were clapping him off) and how we were now a happy clappy club - mostly into my ear.

It is a tactic I have seen at away games before - intimidate, get what he wants, then cuddle the stewards and shake their hands when they come over.

He may well have his demons and be a different man outside of football but with me in that moment he knew exactly what he was fucking playing at.

Didn't work though.
I just seen a feed on last night v Wombles, all you can hear is "old ding-a-ling", obviously his latest ban is over.

About time PFC made it clear to him that next time he commits an obsence act, chant or is just generalky obnoxious it is 5 games, then 10 games etc etc.

Unfortunately it is thd only way "smelly" will learn,  I dont hold out much hope though.
I think he is too far gone. He is more interested in I Hate Scum than Play Up Pompey, and as anyone at recent away days will attest, if you don't support Pompey the way he thinks you should, you're going to be told. I don't think a blue on blue is far away now
Snooze reporting that he has been banned again, after being caught on ifollow this time.

Seems the club are determined to bin him off in the end if he doesn't change his ways.....

I've not seen the latest video. The account mentioned, long after the game ended, facing away from the pitch hanging his famous bell between his legs. If that is what happened then it sounds as if he is indeed being targeted.

Good. They should ban him for life and at the same time get rid of those annoying drums.
I can't stand the prick but I have to be even handed here and say this latest offense is very soft.
On it's own it does indeed sound soft, but it's a bit like when a player gets a soft second yellow, when you have had your card marked you have to adapt your behaviour to not give the ref any chance to give you a second. Westwood seems incapable of that - this is his third ban of the season.
Is he banned? because I can hear the drum and bell.
Not today.  He was banned for Burton.
And a bugle.
Have to say the atmosphere against Burton sounded dead on iplayer.

Pompey can’t ban him from someone else’s stadium

Didn’t he miss 2 away games in his 3 match ban after the his antics against Coventry.
Too many people now a days, want to cancel anything they don't like... People have become such fragile coonts..

Fratton park has lost a bit of it's spark over the last few seasons.... Football is becoming to P.C... And the Burton game on Tuesday was next level dead. With out John it's not the same.
Govern him hard, I say.

I don't think, he wants what you want!.. Has the misses got her real man round tonight, Cunning?. ;O
John does not create the atmosphere!
He is blamed, rightly so, for alot of things but the atmosphere cannot be one of them.
Fratton is a vicious place to play WHEN the crowd are on it.
People come to 'hear and see' the fratton spectacle but over the last couple of years, it is shit!
It is no longer a bear pit but a library
The recorded cute appeal from a child to be nice suggests that the club wants a nicey nicey atmosphere.
Odd isn't it, today's children are given phones that allow them to access porn and anything else they wish, behaviour in the average secondary school is far worse than we would remember, but Fratton Park is expected to be lovely place for middle class parents to take their snsitive little darlings.

The team playing well creates the atmosphere not Westwood. The drums ruin any attempt to get an atmosphere going. Trouble now we only sing about 3 songs at most. Most big clubs don’t have drums and a twat ringing a bell he is hugely embarrassing to our club.

Fair weather supporters need the team to play well before they get behind the team.... John does not!...

And what a surprise, a snowflake who started a anti John post. Doesn't like him!.

What a f*cking melt.

John puts far more money and effort, into supporting Pompey, then 99.9% of the rest of us... And for that I have nothing but respect for the bloke.

And to watch the sh*t we have, home and away..... I would need to be pissed out of my head too.

The biggest embarrassment to our club.... Is squinnys like you!.
Love for Pompey is undeniable but no one is above the law
